Yesterday, I ran a nice 2.28 miles with a girlfriend I haven’t seen in a while. Good company, good view, cool breeze, followed by a 2+ mile walk. It was a sluggish run, as I didn’t get much sleep the night before, but I made it!
Today, I did 5 miles in run-walk intervals on the track: 1600m@10k pace, 400m@1-mile pace, 800m@5k pace, with 3 min walks in between, and repeat x 1. My second 1600m was slower, but I did it. My foot & ankle held up and felt great today.
