… And we’re back to running!

Seven years ago, I was turning 30 and working toward my first 5K as an adult: http://roadto5kand30.blogspot.com. That year, I ran three 5Ks (the race reports are here, here and here) and one 10K. In 2012, I ran my one and only half marathon, the Disney Princess Half.


While preparing for the Rock N Roll Half in DC scheduled for March 2014, I fell down the stairs, breaking my foot and tearing tendons in my ankle — thus, no more running.


I tried a 5K in 2015 without training that didn’t go that well, but now — 2 years later — I am finally ready to rehab my foot/ankle injury and get back to running.

I am so serious about it that I have already registered for three races:
